Nosara is on the Pacific Ocean, about l00 miles west of San Jose . The Nicoya Peninsula is about 100 miles long and Nosara is about 2/3 down, 18 miles north of Samara and about 35 miles south of Tamarindo. To take a look at a map of the area click here.
